Being Vague Brings Popularity
Obama and Online Dating (#17)

“When people describe themselves in vague terms, they become more popular. Why? Because everybody reads into them whatever they want. So if I tell you that I like music, you’ll all think that I like the kind of music that you like. There is something about vagueness… The first coffee meeting is usually disappointing. You have these vague descriptions, these incredible expectations, and huge fallout after the first coffee.”
“I think Obama is the same thing. I think he’s very vague… We know very little about him. I think he is in a position where everybody can read into him whatever they want. And my only question is when will we have the first coffee with Obama? Will it happen before the election or after the election? When will disappointment start?”
I guess this is where I go wrong by blogging. I’m not too vague. Thus, not too popular.

Popularity is overrated… But did’t you hear? Obama wants change. He already changed churches. And I’m sure he’ll change a lot of his positions over the next 5 months. What more could you want?
Here’s a link to a great video… enjoy! — Matt

I probably shouldn’t enjoy this… but it looks like this campaign may be a lot of fun.
I love the pic of Kerry and the football… and that electoral map looks pretty good to me. — Matt

I added the link and a couple pics. Thanks for the idea. I posted that football pic when Kerry was running.
Lately, I have been hesitating about even mentioning B. Hussein Obama because even “bad press” helps.
I expect McCain to win. What do you think of Alaskan governor Sarah Palin as VP?
