I bought two boxes of size 6 Huggies on clearance today, saving me $54.22 off the regular price!!! That doesn’t happen every day! The diaper company changed the packaging, and the grocery store wanted to get rid of the old style! I wish I could have bought more, but there were only two boxes left.

We enjoyed watching the movie Nim’s Island last night.

It was pretty good. It could be that I liked it because it was positive about homeschooling, but the kids enjoyed it, too. They are watching it again right now before we return it. I also loved how it encouraged reading and imagining for children.

“One day we found it… Our home… This is my island. Not a bad place to grow up, huh. See, I don’t have to go to school. I’m homeschooled. Or technically, I’m island-schooled…”

Totally!

We just had our annual evaluation (FL state requirement) and the rest of the neighborhood kids are getting ready to start school on Monday. I am SO thankful that we can homeschool — definitely freedom!
