I’m a reader and a learner, I have so much to learn(!), but have never commented before now. Thanks for this post! Dads everywhere should be outraged by the press on this one. Thank you for the point that Obama and Mrs. are both working! Thank you, thank you, thank you from a SAHM and a dad that currently has to work a 60+ hr week and still is such an intregal part of his little girl’s life that we just don’t get why people aren’t catching this inconsistency.

Thank you for this. I’m enjoying all of your Palin posts, but thank you especially for this one. My very involved husband has been frustrated for days, asking the question, “Where do they think her husband is? Do they think he’s completely useless? Do they think these kids have no father?!”

We should be lifting up the work of this equally involved, supportive father and husband. I think that would be the greatest blessing that could come out of all this: demonstrating for the world how husband and wife can work together as true partners in the raising of their children, each doing whatever is necessary for the other and for the children.

Evidently, for Governor Palin, every day is Take Your Daughter to Work Day. And she did it without getting a flyer from NOW telling her to do it.

And now that she has Trig, it’s Take Your Son To Work Day too.
