The myth that Sarah Palin “came out of nowhere”
http://stubbornfacts.us/politics/2008_election/the_myth_that_sarah_palin_came_out_of_nowhere
Either I am a pretty good journalist *smirk* or I regularly read conservative blogs, because I was hoping all summer that John McCain would pick Sarah Palin as his running mate. I kept annoying my husband by saying, “I hope he picks her!” over and over. So then when she was nominated, I was more excited than surprised at the VP pick. GO SARAH!!!
The mainstream media didn’t see her coming because they had fallen down while worshipping Barack Obama.
This is funnier than you think, because I AM CANADIAN!!!
The best thing that has come out of this nomination (besides Sarah) is that people are finally beginning to recognize the media bias.

Hello,
I had never heard of her, but I am thrilled to have “met” Sarah now!!! Love her!!!
Thanks for all the great articles and pictures, what a wonderful website.

I kept telling my husband that McCain was going to win the nomination back when his campaign was in the toilet (I live in NH). When he won, I told my husband that he would probably pick Gov. Sarah Palin. I had read about her a few months before and thought that picking her was something McCain would do. Very “outside of the box.” (MSM is totally useless.)
Personally, I think he would’ve picked her even if Obama picked Hillary. He didn’t pick her just because she’s a woman. He picked her because she’s the whole package. She’s the real deal.
GO SARAH!
I’d not even dared to hope he’d pick her. I was hooting and cheering in my car when I heard the news.
And Craig Ferguson had heard of her. He said she gave him a “naughty librarian vibe”.
When that Scotish guy on late-night TV knows more about the veep pick than the journalists do, maybe it’s time for the journalists to put down their pens and take up macramé.
