You can hear what Sarah Palin really has to say is when she is live on Fox News. I enjoyed her speech a few minutes ago in Pennsylvania. We don’t often get to see her introducing her family.

Piper and Trig were wearing Hallowe’en costumes. Sarah said Piper could hardly wait to dress as a Snow Princess, and you could tell how pleased Piper was to be wearing the pretty white costume. As usual, she stood there as good as gold during the speech, enjoying every minute.

Trig was a cute little elephant. You could see him sucking his thumb while in Willow’s arms during Sarah’s speech.

I love the fact that the Palin family is one that STAYS together, unlike the Obama family. Michelle Obama is proud to say she CALLS her girls on the phone every night.

“Today Pope Benedict XVI addressed Canadians as he greeted the new Canadian Ambassador to the Holy See, Anne Leahy.”

“In his address, the Holy Father noted his concern for Canada’s growing lack of respect for life and family, despite the fact that Canadian culture has Catholicism as one of its cornerstones and has been recognized as a champion of human rights and dignity.”

“‘Nevertheless, profound changes can be noticed today, which are seen in different sectors and at times cause concern to the point of asking ourselves if it does not mean a regression in the understanding of the human being,’ he said. ‘These changes mainly concern the areas of defense and the promotion of life and the family based on natural marriage.’”

“‘In this context,’ said the Pope, ‘I would like to encourage all Canadians to reflect deeply on the path that Christ calls us to follow.’ That path, he said “is bright and full of truth.’ Speaking of turning to a culture of life, Benedict XVI said, ‘I know it is possible and that your country is capable.’ He said, ‘A culture of life can nourish anew the personal and social existence of Canada as a whole.‘”

“‘To help,’ said the Holy Father, ‘it seems necessary to redefine the meaning of freedom of expression too often invoked to justify certain excesses.’ He noted that freedom is often wrongly perceived as an absolute value, disregarding its divine origin and its communal dimension. In such an interpretation of freedom, he suggested, ‘only the individual can decide and choose the form, characteristics, and ends of life, death, and marriage.’”

The exercise of this freedom implies reference to a natural moral law that is universal, which precedes and unifies all rights and duties. I started bringing graphic abortion pictures to my public school when I was in grade eight (1983/84). As you can imagine, my class became very pro-life. I clearly recall some very interesting discussions with pro-abortion teachers, as well as uneducated-on-abortion teachers. I remember explaining infanticide to teachers who did not believe it existed.

It is very sad that so many years later, abortion is still routinely performed, and some babies are killed following failed abortions, and some babies are left in utility rooms with “Do Not Feed” signs. 

It is disturbing that the United States is considering electing a president who believes in infanticide.

And it it is shocking that Christians believe the liberal campaign slogan of “safe, legal, and rare” when in fact Obama says, “The FIRST thing I’d do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act”.

In the years since our country legalized abortion, nearly 50 million tiny lives have been ended. While I lie here and pray that my baby is healthy and is born well, I watch in horror as throngs of people cheer a man who would make abortion even more accessible.”

“What treasures women are privileged to hold within them! What creatures of infinite value! Our Lord tells us to fear not. He values us and He values the tiny baby whose wisps of hair can be seen and counted by us well before she is born. Who knows the plans He had for those 50 million babies? He promises to allow harm to come to the babies. From my horizontal perspective, here in this bed, the irony is heartbreaking.“

Also pray for a change of heart in those people who intend to cast their votes for Obama.

I don’t know WHO is doing this, whether you can call them the radical left, liberal extremists, secular humanists, Marxists, communists, the plain old devil, or other suspicious groups, BUT you can see this 15-20 year plan of demoralization that has educated a whole generation through the schools and the media. This is not conspiracy theory, but simply what is obvious when you look at the fruit of dedicated propaganda. It helps explain the ridiculous third party voting and Obama infatuation. (It still amuses me that every time I run the spell check, “Obama” comes up “Osama”, but it is not really funny.)
