Minority Conservative Government Elected Again
That is just what I expected.
The shocker of the night was in our local riding, where the Conservatives won for the first time in ages. A female school teacher beat the incumbent male school teacher who held the riding for the past fifteen years. I am hopeful that she will do a better job in defending the unborn than he did.
I found it very encouraging that New Brunswick increased its Conservative seats. Woohoo! The voter turn-out in New Brunswick was only 60%. I am glad the liberals haven’t figured out that they need to put all their parties together, and then they would win.
When you look at the N.B. political map, it is nice to see all the Conservative blue. New Brunswick looks almost as good as Alberta, Saskatchewan, much of British Columbia, Nunavut, and a big chunk of Ontario.

I see the results as good news to Republican Americans who have been listening to negative polls and discouraging media. In yesterday’s Canadian election, the Conservatives did much better than the polls indicated and the media expected. YAY!

Wait a minute. Did I just link to the CBC? Ick.
