Something is Going On… Something Different, Dangerous, and Deceptive

Something is up. Can you feel it? Something different, dangerous, and deceptive. Like a blinding spiritual plague, it has quickly spread throughout the whole world.

I am thinking of the Obama phenomena. It seems to have taken good “Christian” people, and just like an alien encounter, it has wiped their minds and hearts of rational thinking.

Nothing I can say can make you understand. I am not capable of convincing you of anything. This is spiritual. Either your eyes will be opened, or you will stay blind. I can only speak up and tell the truth and pray.

“Do this so that innocent blood will not be shed in your land, which the LORD your God is giving you as your inheritance, and so that you will not be guilty of bloodshed.” Deuteronomy 19:10

If your eyes have been opened by the Holy Spirit, you have a moral base. Without this value system, I can understand how confusing it would be to know who you should vote for. One of the core values of the Christian is the belief that life is precious.

Even if you are educated about the life of the unborn… Even if you have seen babies bouncing in ultrasound pictures… Even if you can imagine what happens to those babies during abortion… Even if I show you graphic videos of broken aborted babies… (all things I should still show you)… Your heart will remain hard unless you are touched by the Holy Spirit. You will continue to rhyme off the rhetoric of women’s reproductive rights. You will continue to think it okay to vote for pro-abortion politicians. If you recognize yourself in that camp, it is time to worry, or rather, pray.

Women have been deceived at the most basic level. The blood of their own children has been shed - by their own hands. Abortion does not help women. Abortion is the greatest deception in history. Women have been convinced by the millions that their only option is to kill their own children. Something is wrong. Deadly wrong.

On November 4th, you have a chance to help America change its direction toward a culture of life. Your vote counts. It seems that if you tell anyone you plan to vote for life in this election, you are labeled racist. When you have that ballot before you, consider each candidate’s values and character. No matter how wonderful it would be to finally elect the first black President, it is so important to do what Baptist minister, Martin Luther King Jr. would have wanted, and judge the candidates on the “content of their character”.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Martin Luther King Jr.

A politician’s position on abortion is an excellent litmus test in determining his or her character and moral fiber. A person who has a strong belief in the sanctity and protection of human life from conception through natural death is more likely to care about the rights and needs of everyone. A person who believes that women can be exploited, coerced, deceived, and violated with the destruction of their unborn does not deserve your vote.

As a voting American, you are fortunate to have such a clear choice between life and death. Obama and Biden support abortion rights. McCain and Palin support the right to life. As I have mentioned many times before, their records and plans for abortion are crystal clear.

Support McCain/Palin ‘08.

Even if this election is won by the pro-lifers, our work is just beginning. We must educate our own children about abortion, and be the parents they need, so they will always come to us for support and never end up sitting alone in an abortion clinic. We must educate young people on the prevention of pre-marital sex. We must help young pregnant women and rescue them and their children from the violence of abortion. We must “rescue the perishing”. We must care for these “widows and orphans”. We must tell the truth about abortion.

RESCUE THE PERISHING

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.

Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.

Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.

    *First-Time Commenter! (You shamed me into it…hee hee.)*

    You know, you’re right. It *is* creepy, and it *is* spiritual. We had a friend say he had stumbled upon some info about the Dalibama using hypnosis (something called Erickson’s method?) to dupe the masses. There is definitely *something* going on, because it is just so irrational to see the way folks are supporting him without any plausible reason why.

    My husband was half-joking the other day and said that if the Dalibama wasn’t the Big Horn from Revelation, then he is surely one of the ten Little Horns. I think he may be right.

    P.S. Thanks for all the Sarah coverage. My kids especially are enjoying all the pictures!

    Good arguments. While you are at it commenting on the American election, could you put in a few words for a Republican House and Senate.

    If we are unlucky enough to have Obama take power, we will need as much Republican strength in Congress as possible to prevent the Democrats from doing too much damage.

    Maintaining as many Republican Senate seats as possible is absolutely CRITICAL, because they serve six year terms and you cannot get them back in two years.

    Please urge every American who reads this site to vote only for Republican candidates for the House and the Senate.

    I was just thinking this over the weekend. Crazy to see many Christians being blinded. It saddens me to hear many are voting for this fool. I am certainly, and never was voting for him in the first place. It is totally against my moral and spiritual values. It is now time to pray the Lord will prevail with a decent good man with values by placing him & Palin into office. Thank you for all the updates and wonderful pictures of Palin by the way. Hugs dear friend. Mica

    Great insight! I can hardly believe the amount of American support for such a character. I hope and pray that election day will tell a different story, but I sadly fear the worst.

    Joe’s right! There’s a lot at stake here. All 3 levels of government being controlled by the liberal Dems is a VERY BAD THING. No potential vetoes. No one to curb spending. No one to challenge Supreme Court nominees or Federal Court nominees. This latter one is potentially the most damaging. The judges are appointed for life. If you look at political history, once the leftist party was sent out into the wilderness 30+ years ago, they began attacking through the courts (and winning). It’s critical not to let the Libs have the power to govern unchallenged and unquestioned (because the media sure as heck won’t be challenging them). Furthermore, the Dems want to remove the right to freedom of the press for the right wing radio and blogging communities. There are steps that will be taken, that may be irreversible (e.g., courts, socialized health care, welfare…) There is a huge amount at stake here!!!
