Hallowe'en Memory
When we go trick-or-treating, we almost always come across a flaming roadblock on the drive home, sometimes forcing us to take a detour. Here is N in front of one of those roadblocks in 2002. We thought he looked like Harry Potter.

Flaming roadblocks common? Is that something like a Canadian Halloween tradition? *blush* I’m embarrassed even asking that. . .
wow. that is pretty freaky. Does that spook you out or is that the norm? Be safe this hollows night. talk to ya soon. Blessings, Mica
You mean they don’t do this everywhere?
I wouldn’t call it “Canadian”, but it is “normal” and “traditional” where I live. LOL The police search during the days before Hallowe’en for suspicious piles of tires. On the morning after, we always see burned, damaged road in a few places.
For what it is worth, here is my opinion! It is just plain “stupid” and it has been passing on down for generations! Redneck at its ultimate, I guess!
Having said that, I do remember in my “days of youth” hanging out at some big road fires. Everyone ran like the dickens when the police arrived! LOL Still – it’s STUPID!
Ah, thanks for explaining! I have never experienced something like that.
