I came home full-time ten years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest (born in April).  I&#039;d taught elementary grades in the public schools for a little more than six years.

I had no idea at the time that I would end up homeschooling...but the closer and closer we got to enrollment age, the more I knew I couldn&#039;t send my children off - especially to the public schools (even the so-called &quot;good&quot; county in which we live)!  Honestly, I just know way too much about what really goes on in the public schools.</description>
