Sleeping arrangements matter of preference

“It turned out we didn’t need most of those [baby] items. In fact, we didn’t even need the nursery.”
“My husband and I are avid believers in attachment parenting, and we quickly realized that our beautiful daughter slept better in our room — more specifically, in our bed…”
“The other night, the baby was snoring in his toddler bed, and my husband was tossing and turning in our king-size bed. He finally got up and brought our son into our bed.”
“‘I just feel better when he’s not that far away from us,’ my husband whispered.”
“I smiled. I was thinking the same thing, too.”

All 3 of my children shared our bed and I loved it. Everyone slept much better and it gave me great pleasure to reach my hand out and touch my child or to kiss a soft cheek. Even now, as old as my children are, when they are not feeling well they will crawl in, curl up and feel much better almost immediately.
