FREE FROM THE LAW

Child Discipline at Ranch: "Persuasion through Love"

I watched Oprah’s show where she visited the polygamist ranch. She asked how the children were punished. With spanking? Switching? Beating? The teen girls seemed surprised with such a thing, and described their discipline style as “persuasion through love”. It is obvious that the children are EXTREMELY well behaved and obedient, and assuming the teen girls are being honest and that love is really loving, then that says a lot about gentle discipline without corporal punishment.
