Hubby is in the midst of the alternative certification program — the courses which non-education majors need to take to get teacher certification. He is so disgusted by the ineptitude of the educational establishment. Going through this program has reinforced our decision to homeschool.
I was talking to my neighbour about this last night. He said his daughter is a teacher, but she couldn’t do anymore than very basic math herself.
