Laura Ingraham is exactly right. Palin drew 60,000 to a rally in The Villages FL. Most rally venues had to be moved to bigger places to accomodate the number of people who wanted to come. When McCain campaigned on his own, his average crowd was 2,000 or less. Palin routinely 10,000 or more. People would stand in line for hours in the rain, or cold to see her.
When she campaigned for Chambliss in GA, she had 4 rallies with attendance of 2,000 to 6,000. Romney campaigned there having 2 events drawing less than 200 to each. Huckabee had to piggyback on a Fair Tax rally to get 2,000 to show up. When Bill Clinton campaigned for Martin in Atlanta he drew 3,000 and Gore drew 500.
