For more than a decade, I have kept my website ad-free, with the exception of book links which have generated only a few dollars. I have donated a great amount of my time and money to helping others through my website. Keeping in mind Luke 10:7 which says, "The worker deserves his wages," I have added a donation button for those who can afford to show appreciation financially. THANK YOU!
If you want to be in my "Circle of Trust" where I share more details about my children and family, you must either agree with or deeply respect my opinions. I am Christian (Presbyterian, Reformed), pro-life, pro-freedom, pro-homeschooling (since 1996, classical, Christian, self-teaching), pro-attachment parenting (sleep-sharing, baby-wearing, breastfeeding), pro-natural birthing, small-c-conservative-capitalist-libertarian, anti-socialism, anti-vaccination, anti-spanking (pro-non-punitive disciplining), anti-cry-it-out, anti-drug, and it gets worse! I love Sarah Palin! *grin* In addition, if you want to be in my "Circle of Trust" , please email me with personal information about yourself and your family and make your request clear.

Traditional spiritual
Free from the law, O happy condition,
Jesus has bled and there is remission,
Cursed by the law and bruised by the fall, Grace hath redeemed us once for all.
Once for all, O sinner, receive it,
Once for all, O brother, believe it;
Cling to the cross, the burden will fall, Christ hath redeemed us once for all.
Now we are free, there’s no condemnation,
Jesus provides a perfect salvation.
“Come unto Me,” O hear His sweet call,
Come, and He saves us once for all.
“Children of God,” O glorious calling, Surely His grace will keep us from falling;
Passing from death to life at His call;
Blessèd salvation once for all.
My soul is filled with joy and gladness
Since Jesus came to me.
His love has banished all my sadness, From sin I am set free.
He set me free, He set me free,
I was blind, but hallelujah, now I see!
I shall ne’er forget the day When He washed my sins away,
And He set, He set me free.
The Comforter divine is dwelling
Within my soul today;
His love to others I am telling
Since Jesus came to stay.
The grace of Jesus hath abounded
For all my sins I see,
Salvation walls have me surrounded, From sin I am set free.
Once I was bound by sin’s galling fetters;
Chained like a slave, I struggled in vain. But I received a glorious freedom,
When Jesus broke my fetters in twain.
Glorious freedom! Wonderful freedom!
No more in chains of sin I repine!
Jesus the glorious Emancipator—
Now and forever He shall be mine.
Freedom from all the carnal affections;
Freedom from envy, hatred and strife;
Freedom from vain and worldly ambitions;
Freedom from all that saddened my life!
Freedom from pride and all sinful follies;
Freedom from love and glitter of gold;
Freedom from evil temper and anger;
Glorious freedom, rapture untold!
Freedom from fear with all of its torments;
Freedom from care with all of its pain;
Freedom in Christ, my blessèd Redeemer—
He Who has rent my fetters in twain.
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
“They had aborted their first children through so-called ‘silent abortions,’ because of their use of artificial contraception.”
“‘I had abortions that I never realized I had until I learned how several methods of birth control I used in the early 70′s worked; that is, they caused the tiny babies (embryos) growing within my womb to abort without my knowing it because they were unable to implant in my uterine wall.’”
“‘Contraception hurts women,’ Juliana concludes, ‘but our God is a healing Father who forgives and gives the living water of new life as we become able to receive it.’”
“According to state education officials, nearly three-quarters of the people who took the state elementary school teacher’s licensing exam this year failed the new math section.”
“Many students are not receiving an adequate math education.”
“‘The high failure rate puts a shining light on a deficiency in teacher-prep programs.’”
Why does Obama say he wants abortion to be “rare”? Why should abortion be rare if it is a valid choice? Why does Obama describe abortion as a “moral” issue? If abortion is a moral issue, then does that mean there is something immoral about it? Obama says he wants us to find the “common ground” on abortion. That common ground should be the equal protection under the law for EVERY human being to have the right to life. And regarding Obama’s request for us to be “fair minded”? It is not FAIR for an innocent unborn child to be burned or ripped apart in the womb. I truly believe that a Christian cannot, in good conscience, support Barack Obama.
“The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform graciously let me [Jill Stanek] ride in 1 of its Truth Trucks to capture the following video. It tracks the impressive 2 mile continuous protest route from I80 to the campus’s main entrance. There was no other route for out-of-towners to take.”
God bless these people… Truly doing the Lord’s work. Watching this made me weep.
The View Ladies and Abortion
I just caught the ladies on The View discussing abortion and the Notre Dame situation. Both Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar brought up the word “murder” when talking about abortion. They both label themselves as pro-life, yet believe in the right to choose abortion. Whoopi believes abortion is a financial decision. If the mother is too poor, and cannot provide for the child, then she should have the choice to abort the baby. They have no problem using the words “baby”, “child”, and “murder” when discussing abortion.
Sherri Shepherd said Planned Parenthood pressured her into having an abortion at 17 even though she was having second thoughts. Whoopi told Sherri that she was glad her baby was aborted. The others did not listen to the pain coming from Sherri who still suffers with guilt and remorse after so many years. Joy dismissed her by saying that she knows many women who do not have guilt after their abortions. Elisabeth Hasselbeck may be pro-life, yet she does not come across as educated on life issues.
Pro-abortion feminists Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar acknowledge abortion is murder. They acknowledge the fact that it is a baby. They still believe in the right to choose abortion.
They don’t see that abortion is an exploitation of women. They don’t see that a dollar value shouldn’t be placed on a child’s life. They don’t see that women are often coerced into having abortions. They don’t see that women are being used by men and then violated with the abortion cover-up. They don’t see that women have been deceived at the most basic level. The blood of their own children has been shed – by their own hands. Abortion does not help women.
EXPLOITATION – Abortion gives men the right to “use” women without consequences. Abortion exists so men can pursue a lifestyle of sexual irresponsibility without accountability.
COERCION – Men coerce women into believing that abortion is the only solution. Abortion provides an easy out for the man, certainly not for the woman.
DECEPTION – The woman is deliberately deceived about the abortion itself, its effects on her and on her living, growing child.
VIOLENCE – Abortion is a violent act against both the mother and the child.
“Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.” Deuteronomy 4:9
“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, ‘But we knew nothing about this,’ does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?” Proverbs 24:11,12
“They mingled with the nations and adopted their customs. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.” Psalm 106:35, 37-38
“This is what the LORD says: ‘A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because her children are no more.’” Jeremiah 31:15
“My favorite grandpa, Clem James Sheeran, was Catholic. Irish to the core, his favorite place (other than church) was Notre Dame. I can’t imagine what he would think as the university recognizes someone who contradicts the core values of the Catholic faith by promoting an anti-life agenda. As we learned today, our nation is more pro-life than ever before; it is a very important time to strengthen the message that every baby is created for good purpose and has the potential to make this world a better place.”
No, Mr. President: John Piper’s Response to President Obama on Abortion
Roe v. Wade “not only protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, but stands for a broader principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters.” Barack Obama
