Memories are made that influence a child for the rest of his or her life. Teachers are in a position of trust and respect. DH and I have discussed this for a while now. A LOT while I was still pregnant. We had talked about possibly homeschooling, but once Obama was in the picture and this stuff crept up, it solidified our decision.
Have you read The Book Thief? There were parts going on in there that really reminded me of our current administration… *shudder*
