.: Welcome! :.
.: Happy to help! :.
For more than a decade, I have kept my website ad-free, with the exception of book links which have generated only a few dollars. I have donated a great amount of my time and money to helping others through my website. Keeping in mind Luke 10:7 which says, "The worker deserves his wages," I have added a donation button for those who can afford to show appreciation financially. THANK YOU!
If you want to be in my "Circle of Trust" where I share more details about my children and family, you must either agree with or deeply respect my opinions. I am Christian (Presbyterian, Reformed), pro-life, pro-freedom, pro-homeschooling (since 1996, classical, Christian, self-teaching), pro-attachment parenting (sleep-sharing, baby-wearing, breastfeeding), pro-natural birthing, small-c-conservative-capitalist-libertarian, anti-socialism, anti-vaccination, anti-spanking (pro-non-punitive disciplining), anti-cry-it-out, anti-drug, and it gets worse! I love Sarah Palin! *grin* In addition, if you want to be in my "Circle of Trust" , please email me with personal information about yourself and your family and make your request clear.

Traditional spiritual
Free from the law, O happy condition,
Jesus has bled and there is remission,
Cursed by the law and bruised by the fall, Grace hath redeemed us once for all.
Once for all, O sinner, receive it,
Once for all, O brother, believe it;
Cling to the cross, the burden will fall, Christ hath redeemed us once for all.
Now we are free, there’s no condemnation,
Jesus provides a perfect salvation.
“Come unto Me,” O hear His sweet call,
Come, and He saves us once for all.
“Children of God,” O glorious calling, Surely His grace will keep us from falling;
Passing from death to life at His call;
Blessèd salvation once for all.
My soul is filled with joy and gladness
Since Jesus came to me.
His love has banished all my sadness, From sin I am set free.
He set me free, He set me free,
I was blind, but hallelujah, now I see!
I shall ne’er forget the day When He washed my sins away,
And He set, He set me free.
The Comforter divine is dwelling
Within my soul today;
His love to others I am telling
Since Jesus came to stay.
The grace of Jesus hath abounded
For all my sins I see,
Salvation walls have me surrounded, From sin I am set free.
Once I was bound by sin’s galling fetters;
Chained like a slave, I struggled in vain. But I received a glorious freedom,
When Jesus broke my fetters in twain.
Glorious freedom! Wonderful freedom!
No more in chains of sin I repine!
Jesus the glorious Emancipator—
Now and forever He shall be mine.
Freedom from all the carnal affections;
Freedom from envy, hatred and strife;
Freedom from vain and worldly ambitions;
Freedom from all that saddened my life!
Freedom from pride and all sinful follies;
Freedom from love and glitter of gold;
Freedom from evil temper and anger;
Glorious freedom, rapture untold!
Freedom from fear with all of its torments;
Freedom from care with all of its pain;
Freedom in Christ, my blessèd Redeemer—
He Who has rent my fetters in twain.
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I’m happy,
I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Melissa Gilbert: “I’ve got to tell you. I am with my son 24/7 right now because he’s in this show with me, and he’s homeschooling. And we are having an amazing time. I will say that.
Sherri Shepherd: “I don’t think I would ever have the patience to homeschool, girl.”
Melissa Gilbert: “Well, let me make it clear. We have a teacher traveling with us as we do the show… But it’s GREAT!”
I have watched some of Leno’s new show and I noticed he is making an effort to increase his ratings by not being as offensive to conservatives as he was on The Tonight Show.
Rush Limbaugh is an awesome entertainer and conservative advocate. I have been a dittohead since the late eighties. Both Rush and Glenn Beck are encouraging and make me laugh instead of cry.
Rush on Jay Leno
Too funny when Rush stopped and put the car in reverse.
“‘TUSD recognized that there are ethnic/racial disparities in student discipline actions … School data that shows disparities in suspension/expulsion rates will be examined in detail for root causes. Special attention will be dedicated to data regarding African American and Hispanic students.’”
“If disparities are seen, district administrators would ‘confer with the school about action steps to be taken to address disparities.’”
“According to the plan, the goal would be to ‘reduce the disproportionate number of suspensions of African American and Hispanic students.’”

All the children of the world.

By Mr. B and the students of Room 8
February 2009
Obama is the President!
First African America in history
44th president of the United States
The ground has shifted
The world has changed!
CHORUS:

We are a nation of a thousand colors, look at me
Our strength is our diversity
Walking hand in hand we sing
Each a day a little closer to the dream of Dr. King
(Exerpt from MLK’s “I Have a Dream, 1963)
Together we walk
Me and you
So so much work
Left to do.
Hmmmm… What would happen if a teacher taught students to sing songs to President Bush… or sing Christmas carols?!!

Got paged in the morning at 5am
Time to go into work again.
Welcome to the world of medicine,
Whoa, here we go again.
The hospital’s packed with people in a long line
Agitated cause we’ve waited for a long time.
This is all so crazy, too many missing coverage lately
My tummy’s turning and I’m feeling kinda sickly
My hip’s bad and I feel weak
And the prices are always raising up.
Conservatives and liberals say
To reform healthcare today
But they can’t seem to find a way.
So we throw our hands up for healthcare reform
Make your choice today.
Private and public care
Will a marketplace treat us fair?
So we throw our hands up for healthcare reform
Make your choice today.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It’s a problem in the USA.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It’s a problem in the USA.
Obama says everyone needs
Health coverage in America now.
We need to insure those 47 million
But the government doesn’t know how.
Deductibles getting higher every day
I got my bill and I’m thinking NO way.
And what about my brother?
He’s hurt and can’t get covered.
My tummy’s turning and I’m feeling kinda worried
Capricious coverage is killing me.
That’s when a doctor said, “You’ll have to go.”
Bipartisan support was tried so we wouldn’t be denied
But Joe Wilson yelled, “You lie!”
