Minor Incidents
Quoting the boy, in the movie, About A Boy, “There were people out there who had a good time in life. I was beginning to realize, I wasn’t one of them. I just didn’t fit. I didn’t fit at my old school. I definitely didn’t fit at my new one. I heard that some kids got taught by their parents at home. But Mom couldn’t do that unless I paid her to teach me, because it was just her and me and she had to work… So basically, I had to go to school…”
Badly Drawn Boy – A Minor Incident
A Minor Incident
There’s nothing I could say
To make you try to feel ok
And nothing you could do
To stop me feeling the way I do
And if the chance should happen
That I never see you again
Just remember that I’ll always love youI’d be a better person
On the other side I’m sure
You’d find a way to help yourself
And find another door
To shrug off minor incidents
And make us both feel proud
I just wish I could be there
To see you throughYou always were the one
To make us stand out in a crowd
Though every once upon a while
Your head was in the cloud
There’s nothing you could never do
To ever let me down
And remember that I’ll always love you
