Happiness is… the look on C1′s face when I admired her crayon work. She was so excited to make marks on her paper. It was C10 who introduced her to coloring a few months ago.

    Herman Cain Smoking Ad

    | October 25, 2011

I don’t smoke. I have never smoked. I found Disney World annoying with the smoking section next to the mothers’ rocking chair area. I always find it annoying to have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get into the local Walmart. BUT… I am a freedom-loving libertarian who found this Herman Cain politcally incorrect ad absolutely hilarious!! Best LOL I’ve had all week. Stick it to them, Mr. Cain! What an ironic breath of fresh air! LOL

Now is the time for action!

Why I never should have had eight children
    http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/why-i-never-should-have-had-eight-children

“I remember standing in my kitchen, full of fear and anxiety, telling myself that I had no business – no business! – having another baby. Not now, not ever.”

“All my shortcomings and sins came to the forefront of my mind, and I stood there reeling from the truth of it:”

    • I can’t cook.
    •  I can’t grocery shop.
    •  I can’t bring the kids out alone without help.
    •  I have nooooo patience.
    •  I am not crafty in the least.
    •  I can’t sew.
    •  I can’t throw a party.
    •  I’m not athletic or outdoorsy.
    •  I don’t know how to make a pretty home.
    •  I don’t know how to make anything fun.
    •  I am lazy and a procrastinator.
    •  I’m used to being served, not serving.
    •  I am sarcastic and cranky.
    •  I am a complainer.
    •  I like to be alone.
    •  I hate to be interrupted or inconvenienced.
    •  I am not particularly good with children…

“‘Discouragement is not from Christ, as Christ only encourages. Discouragement is from the devil!’ I remembered it then, and my fears and anxieties were banished.”

    Happy Friday!

    | October 21, 2011

We saw our first truck load of Christmas trees today.

Still enjoying my baby as much as humanly possible.

The sky was so bright today after the dark week – record rainfall is some areas.

The Middles and I worked hard on Big Garbage Day. I had been purging the house for two weeks. We ended up taking four van loads to the end of the driveway, and we dragged many other things. I helped a lady take apart a large Little Tikes slide to fit in her van. Every spring and fall, almost all of the stuff we put out gets taken. I hope the people either can use the stuff or make a little money selling it. I am always afraid some of it might go to hoarders. I wish they knew how great it feels to get rid of unnecessary things.

Inside N. Korea’s Prisons: Moms Kill Children to Survive
    http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2011/October/Witness-to-Evil-Mothers-Kill-Children-to-Survive/

“One time a mother put her 9-year-old daughter in this big cast iron pot and boiled her,” she said. “She was too big for the pot so the mother had to chop her legs and head to fit the body in the pot.”

“On another occasion, a lady killed her 16-year-old son, chopped him into pieces and took him to a butcher shop to get some corn in exchange,” she said…

“Every day people are dying. Every day people are killing each other,” she said. “I am living proof that there are no human rights in North Korea.”
