I bought two boxes of size 6 Huggies on clearance today, saving me $54.22 off the regular price!!! That doesn’t happen every day! The diaper company changed the packaging, and the grocery store wanted to get rid of the old style! I wish I could have bought more, but there were only two boxes left.

  • Barack Obama, What daughter wants to build her dreams on the memory of having killed her own unborn child?

    | January 23, 2012

When celebrating the 39th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, Barack Obama said,

“I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose and this fundamental constitutional right… While this is a sensitive and often divisive issue—no matter what our views, we must stay united in our determination to prevent unintended pregnancies, support pregnant woman and mothers, reduce the need for abortion, encourage healthy relationships, and promote adoption.” Barack Obama

What exactly is wrong with abortion that the rate needs to be reduced?

“And as we remember this historic anniversary, we must also continue our efforts to ensure that our daughters have the same rights, freedoms, and opportunities as our sons to fulfill their dreams.” Barack Obama

What daughter wants to build her dreams on the memory of having killed her own unborn child? How is that equality? Abortion = one dead, one wounded, and one free to continue to sexually exploit. Abortion gives men the right to “use” women without consequences. Abortion exists so men can pursue a lifestyle of sexual irresponsibility without accountability. Abortion exploits women. Men (partners and even doctors) often coerce women into believing that abortion is the only solution. Abortion provides an easy out for the man, certainly not for the woman. Women are often coerced into having abortions. Women are being deceived at the most basic level. The woman is deliberately deceived about the abortion itself, its effects on her and on her living, growing child. After being used by men, women are then violated with the abortion cover-up. Abortion is a violent act against both the mother and the child.

Speaking of the dreams of our daughters, Barack Obama, don’t you know that we have known for YEARS that unborn babies dream?! Literally!! Why don’t they have the “same rights, freedoms, and opportunities”?

“Using ultrasound techniques, it was first shown that REM (rapid eye movements) which are characteristic of active dream states have been demonstrated at 23 weeks.” J. Birnhaltz, “The Development of Human Fetal Eye Movement Patterns,” Science, 1981, vol. 213, pp. 679-681

“REM have since been recorded 17 weeks after conception.” S. Levi, Brugman University of Brussels, American Medical Association News, February 1, 1983

Conservative Media Profits From An Obama Win, Independents Influenced by Entertainment Media

The Six Dirty Secrets of Presidential Politics in 2012 By John Ziegler
    http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/01/the_six_dirty_secrets_of_presidential_politics_in_2012.html#ixzz1jrzU9iGj

“The voters who determine who wins our presidential elections are frighteningly lacking in even basic knowledge of the issues or the candidates…”

“…It is a myth that Fox News, talk radio, and the internet allow conservatives to get our truth out. In reality, at best, these outlets allow the previously converted to feel better about what they already believe. At worst, they provoke the other side into justifying a more overt bias in order to “balance” things out.”

“The ultimate example of this comes in the way the cable news networks have positioned themselves. MSNBC is far more left than FNC is to the right, and now, significantly left CNN is somehow allowed to be perceived to be in the “middle”…”

“Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Bill Maher, Saturday Night Live, and other “entertainment” outlets all have incredible power to create the narrative of a presidential election (just ask Palin), and they are highly unlikely to do so in a way that would ever harm Obama…”

“Even if the economy doesn’t improve (or at least provide enough data for the media to manipulate into making it seem as if it is), Obama has at least a 50% chance at reelection. This assessment may be shocking to many conservatives, but it is based on sound analysis.”

My brother pointed this out to me years ago:

“In my experience, the most universal misconception that conservatives have about politics is that most of those in the “conservative media” or those who are “activists” are motivated primarily because they believe in the cause… The vast majority of the decisions made in the conservative media and by activists are decided by business considerations rather than by what is best for the cause…”

“The Obama presidency has been a financial windfall for all of them. Fox’s ratings have never been higher, Drudge’s traffic has never been better (which is rather “ironic,” given how blatantly he protected Obama during the 2008 primaries), talk radio has been at least temporarily saved, and dozens of “Tea Party” groups have raised millions of dollars with which to line the pockets of their organizers and consultant friends. If Obama loses, not only does all of that stop, but the prospect of possibly eight long years of being “obligated” to support a rather boring Mitt Romney with no “boogieman” to attack must scare the daylights out of them…”

Beck and Palin Discuss Obama’s Latest Speech

    | December 8, 2011

In case you don’t know American history, or only listen to mainstream media or heaven-forbid, CANADIAN television, please note that Obama’s speech yesterday, was full of LIES. I was actually shocked that Obama was so blatant in describing his beliefs and his deceptions. He knows the media is rooting for him.

    http://www.theblaze.com/stories/becks-very-epic-analysis-of-obamas-new-nationalism-speech-he-is-lying/

“During Wednesday’s episode of the Glenn Beck Program on GBTV, Glenn noted that while at the Fox News network, he was advised to never call the president a “liar” under any circumstances. The logic being that the public would prefer to hear that the president “misspoke” rather than believing he could lie…”

Stanek weekend question: Which would be the more persuasive pro-life Super Bowl ad, graphic or nongraphic?
    http://www.jillstanek.com/2011/11/stanek-weekend-question-which-would-be-the-more-persuasive-pro-life-super-bowl-ad-graphic-or-nongraphic/

“Pro-life activist Randall Terry is running for President of the United States precisely with the goal of running an ad during the Super Bowl game that shows the graphic reality of abortion.”

PLEASE DONATE TO THIS CAMPAIGN (I did.):
    http://us4.campaign-archive2.com/?u=0be4082226c4e80d2b7582bef&id=028ddee653&e=14e919ba9c

“You may remember the controversy last year regarding the Tim Tebow ads that ran during the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, by the time CBS was done taking every reference to abortion out of the ad many people did not even know that it was originally intended to be a pro-life ad. The Tebow family and their supporters from Focus on the Family were the victims of media censorship and bias.”

“But because I am a federal candidate, television stations cannot deny, edit, or censor my television ads in any way, as long as I am within a 45 day window of a primary or a caucus in any given state. There are at least eight states where we will be able to run these ads during the playoffs/Super Bowl time frame.”

I think Randall Terry has a brilliant idea. It is encouraging when a pro-life leader comes up with a new angle. EVERY new idea is worth trying.

It is TIME for graphic abortion pictures to be shown to the masses. A country-wide graphic campaign might turn this bloody mess around. Pro-lifers shouldn’t let a news reporter film outside without a graphic abortion picture in the background. We need to be the mainstream media’s paparazzi and expect much more from the conservative media. As hard as it might be to believe, people still don’t know the truth. They continue to be shocked at the graphic pictures. That’s hard to understand, too, because everyone seems to know about the life of the unborn through ultrasound, etc. What do they THINK those babies look like dead? It doesn’t cross their minds. We need to show them. Expose this holocaust with the TRUTH.

Occupy Wall Street Trick or Treat

    Just After Halloween, 2011

The behavior and criminal activity at the OWS protests are despicable.

    Hat Tip: http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words, redistribution of wealth.

She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Conservative, a feeling she openly expressed. Based on the lectures that she had participated in, and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his.

One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father. He responded by asking how she was doing in school.

Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, as she worked with other people in a group. Most of them were competent and they all worked more or less to the best of their abilities. However, due to the fact that she had formed the group, she got to distribute the grades and often saved the best for herself, based solely on the fact that she formed the group, rather than on individual performance and despite the fact that all the others worked just as hard and contributed just as much.

Her father listened and then asked, ‘How is your friend Audrey doing?’ She replied, ‘Audrey is barely getting by. She hasn’t sucked up to anyone, nor has she been particularly ruthless. As a result, I’ve only given her a 2.0, despite her working just as hard as me. Her wise father asked his daughter, ‘Why don’t you go to the Dean’s office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of your GPA.’

The daughter, visibly shocked by her father’s suggestion, angrily fired back, ‘That’s a crazy idea, how would that be fair! I formed the group! I had an idea that others, like Audrey, improved upon and then combined with their own ideas, then I took the credit and praise. I should be the one who gets the grades, even if the others are putting forth just as much if not more effort.’

The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, ‘Welcome to the conservative’s philosophy.’

    Media Malpractice on Netflix

    | September 20, 2011

B13 and I just watched Media Malpractice on Netflix. I thought I knew the extent of the bias of the mainstream media, but I learned even more. Unbelievable. Since I watch FNC, listen to talk radio, and read alternative internet media, I am coming from a different perspective than most people. Now I understand how people who only watch the main networks or Canadian news (with the exception of SUN News) are given only a completely distorted view of politics, etc. I highly recommend Media Malpractice.
