congrats on baby # 6. just started thinking today how nice it would be to have another one myself. would be nice if it was a boy too. have all girls (4). i think my husband about fainted when i mentioned having another one. he loves my girls and kids too, but my pregnancies are hard. i get terrible morning sickness to the point of having to take meds and sometimes getting rehydrated via iv. praying all goes well for you.
Carol, The Holy Spirit led me to your site. It has encouraged me and supported my heart for my children and most importantly, for Jesus’ love and desires for us. Knowledge truly is power! You have done the ground work, and searched to the very root of each word in its original language. I needed that because my search is for truth. I can only conclude that you have a heart that is so in love with Jesus and his example that you will search for his love with all your heart and energy. You truly are a woman after God’s own heart!
Happen to find your blog today by accident… Thanking God for your wisdom in all your posts. I guess I’m a bit partial as I see you are a fellow Canuck.
Thank you for your post about Spanking not being biblical. I had a discussion with a friend and this will really help.
Proverbs 23:13
13 Do not withhold discipline from a child;
if you strike him with a rod, he will not die.
Proverbs 23:14
14 If you strike him with the rod,
you will save his soul from Sheol.
I don’t think the word “strike” is used figuratively here.
